Michael Maestas

Michael Maestas brings over 25 years of investment analysis and capital markets experience to DAFgiving360 as Managing Director of Investment Oversight and Due Diligence. He has 12 years of experience at Charles Schwab, most recently as Managing Director responsible for Alternative Investment Due Diligence. Prior to Schwab, Michael was an equity and security analyst at Avalon Global Asset Management, Merrill Lynch, and Bank of America Securities. He was also an Adjunct Professor in Finance at University of San Francisco and St. Mary’s College. He earned an MBA from Columbia University, a BSBA in Accounting from Bucknell University, and holds both the Certified Public Accountant and the Chartered Financial Analyst designations. 

Michael supports organizations and communities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. He serves as Board Treasurer of the Walnut Creek Library Foundation, as a member of Concord’s Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee, and as a finance and accounting mentor for students and young professionals at various nonprofit organizations.
