Support those impacted by earthquakes in Afghanistan
Western Afghanistan has recently been struck by 4 major earthquakes, all 6.3 magnitude, in just over a week.
Officials have stated that thousands of lives were lost and thousands more have been impacted. The UN Office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) said the earthquakes destroyed an estimated 100% of homes in the Zindajan district in Herat Province.
It is also important to note that Afghanistan is facing a complex humanitarian crisis while responding to this tragic event.
The organizations below have been recommended by the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) to help those impacted.
